The Consortium is intended for researchers undertaking a PhD or Professional Doctorate. Researchers may present work at any stage. The Consortium aims to provide: An opportunity for small group, in-depth discussions which focus on participants’ research issues; Understanding of work in progress by other PhD-level researchers; Identification of other research related to the participant's interests.
The Doctoral Consortium has been running for many years and is always a very successful event judging from the feedback of the participants. For some, it has turned around their progress, and for others it has helped enormously, as well as providing a long-lasting support network of fellow PhDs. It is designed for PhD students at any stage of their studies and provides an opportunity for them to present their work and receive feedback from experienced supervisors and fellow students. This is particularly valuable for those who are not studying as part of a large PhD programme or have few other Information Systems colleagues in their home institutions.
We invite PhD supervisors to nominate their students to Diana Limburg.
